As lockdown lifts, we appreciate that our clients and contacts may still be worried about the spread of Coronavirus.
In line with government guidelines, our offices at 135-137 Dyke Road have now reopened but with strict social distancing measures in place. These include but are not limited to perspex screens, floor markings, signage and sanitiser stations. As only one customer is permitted on the premises at any one time, we are encouraging the continued use of email or phone correspondence wherever possible. Contractors requiring keys should contact the relevant Property Manager before visiting our offices. Prior to reopening, we have carried out a comprehensive Risk Assessment, the details of which can be found here.
Certain members of staff will continue to work remotely until September; others will combine remote working with office working on a rota basis. All remote staff have access to email and calls to their direct line are diverted to their mobile. Senior management have as much input in day-to-day affairs as they would do normally. Our temporary general enquiry number – 01273 260 727 – remains in place and will be answered by a member of our admin team, with details forwarded to the relevant person. The processes for site inspections and major works will be guided by our governing bodies – ARMA and RICS. Any staff attending site inspections will be provided with the relevant protective equipment. As we are trying to keep travel and face-do-face meetings to a minimum, any such requests will need to be authorised by senior management and are likely to involve pre-screening questions. We have successfully used a range of tools and technologies during the lockdown period which have ensured our business operations have continued to run smoothly. These include secure online video conferencing using Zoom and Microsoft Teams, in addition to WhatsApp and email.
